The Scheme offers a number of heating system upgrade in conjunction with certain insulation upgrades when installed together. In turn you can upgrade your existing heating system as long as you have installed the recommended insulation measures.
(ECO) was introduced by the Government, and will run until 2022 to help reduce the impact of fuel poverty in the UK, maintain our commitment to reduce our carbon emissions and maintaining our energy supply. The focus under the scheme is mainly on low income households to help or mitigate fuel poverty commitments under the Governments affordable warmth commitment.
The (CERO) Carbon Emissions Reduction Obligation was removed from ECO3 and has been invested into the Affordable Warmth Scheme. Increasing the number of household that are eligible will rise due to the introduction of increased funding and eligibility throughout the UK .
